HEALING COMMUNITIES, SHARING LOVE – THE HUMANITARIAN JOURNEY OF NATIONAL REHABILITATION HOSPITAL’S YOUTH UNION
“We go to serve, to share, and to discover how much our hearts can hold.”
Looking back on their previous charitable medical outreach programs and free medicine distribution activities, every member of the National Rehabilitation Hospital Youth Union cannot help but feel deeply moved. These were not merely journeys from one place to another, but journeys of passionate hearts beneath white coats—bringing compassion and warmth to communities that continue to face hardship.
Building on what has already been achieved, the spirit of volunteerism among the Hospital’s Youth Union members continues to burn brightly.
On May 31, our volunteer team will set out for Ngoc Trao Commune, Thanh Hoa Province—a community with a proud revolutionary tradition where many residents still face economic hardship and limited access to essential services.
There, the Youth Union will coordinate a special community healthcare program providing free medical examinations, health screenings, health management counseling, and medicines for residents.
All preparations have now been completed, from assembling a team of highly qualified healthcare professionals and specialized medical equipment to preparing hundreds of packages of nutritional supplements and essential medicines.
Everything is ready with one shared goal: to bring high-quality healthcare services directly to residents, enable them to proactively screen for health conditions, and help improve their quality of life.
Our previous journeys and the destinations ahead embody the spirit of the saying:
“Wherever there is a need, young people are there; wherever there is a difficult task, young people rise to it.”
The young healthcare professionals of National Rehabilitation Hospital pledge to keep this spirit of dedication alive and continue writing new chapters of compassion in their journey to bring better health and more smiles to the community.
