NATIONAL REHABILITATION HOSPITAL WELCOMES DELEGATION FROM HOANG HOA GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR STUDY AND PROFESSIONAL EXCHANGE
On the afternoon of May 26, 2026, National Rehabilitation Hospital welcomed a delegation from Hoang Hoa General Hospital for a study visit and an exchange of professional experience in the delivery of rehabilitation services. The visit was a meaningful initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation and sharing effective clinical solutions in rehabilitation between the two hospitals.

- Representatives of the leadership of clinical departments and administrative divisions throughout the Hospital.
Representing Hoang Hoa General Hospital were:
- Lam Tien Tung, MD, MSc, Deputy Director of the Hospital;
- Representatives of the leadership of its departments and administrative divisions.
As part of the program, the delegation from Hoang Hoa General Hospital toured several clinical departments and specialized rehabilitation facilities at National Rehabilitation Hospital.
- Early rehabilitation model: The delegation observed the early-stage rehabilitation intervention process at the Emergency - Intensive Care - Toxicology Department and the Long-term Geriatric Medicine Unit. This approach plays a key role in minimizing secondary complications and accelerating patients’ recovery.
- Specialized rehabilitation facilities: The delegation also visited the rehabilitation facilities of the General Rehabilitation Department and the Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Department. These are among the Hospital’s key specialist departments, equipped with modern rehabilitation technology and staffed by experienced rehabilitation therapists.
During the working session, leaders of the two hospitals exchanged candid views on current rehabilitation practices, favorable conditions, and the challenges facing rehabilitation services.
Speaking on behalf of Hoang Hoa General Hospital, Lam Tien Tung, MD, MSc, expressed his strong impression of the scale, professional operational processes, and effectiveness of the rehabilitation models implemented at National Rehabilitation Hospital. He also expressed his hope that Hoang Hoa General Hospital would continue to receive professional support and benefit from the National Rehabilitation Hospital's experience in the future.
