On the afternoon of January 7, 2025, the National Rehabilitation Hospital held a Conference to summary Party activities, professional and union activities in 2024; deploy directions and missions in 2025.
The Party Committee of the National Rehabilitation Hospital has 80 party members. They operate in 4 party cells. In 2024, the Party Committee of the Hospital successfully directed the Party cells to organize Party cell congresses. Party-building activities were focused on all three aspects: politics, ideology and organization. Personnel activities were carried out promptly and seriously. Inspection and supervision activities were maintained regularly.
Regarding professional task, in 2024, the hospital received over 26,211 people for medical examination, reaching 100.81% of the yearly plan. Inpatient treatment for 10,080 patients, reaching 91.64%; inpatient bed rate reached 88.7%. The hospital conducts medical examinations, consults with specialists, and coordinates with specialists in the treatment of patients, typically cases requiring gastric bypass. The quality of medical examination and treatment has been gradually improved.
The Hospital focused on medical education and training activities, scientific research, and equipment investment. In 2024, the hospital has 9 topics recognized at grassroots level, 01 scientific article published in domestic journals. The application of information technology in hospital management and operation has made many positive changes, especially the hospital has completed the steps to appraise electronic medical records and register the implementation of electronic medical records with the Ministry of Health.
In addition to the advantages, the Hospital also faced many difficulties such as: The competition for patient resources between hospitals was increasingly fierce, medical facilities were very focused on developing towards quality in terms of expertise, and service satisfaction; The gradual transition to full autonomy mechanism forces medical facilities to really move to innovate; The strong digital technology transformation applied to management and medical examination and treatment, while the ideology of some staff was still subsidized, inert, afraid of innovation; Health insurance policy was still inadequate; The complex developments of the world situation had greatly affected the health work in Vietnam. The disruption of the supply chain of drugs, equipment and medical supplies in the world was one of the causes of shortages of drugs, equipment and medical supplies at many medical examination and treatment establishments, including the National Rehabilitation Hospital.
Regarding trade union work, with the attention, support and timely direction from the Party Committee, the Hospital Board of Directors and the superior Trade Union, all activities of the National Rehabilitation Hospital Trade Union were favorable and fulfilled their tasks well. The plans were thoroughly implemented efficiently, meeting the requirements of the superior Trade Union and the Hospital. Trade unions had done well in propagating and educating political and ideological for union members such as organizing propaganda about important holidays of the country, propagating the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, the Law on Social Insurance, learning the rules of communication and behavior, learning Ho Chi Minh's moral example. All hospital staff had innovated their service style and attitude, aiming at patient satisfaction. The hospital implements well the regime of wages, salaries, professional allowances, permanent professional allowances, hazardous allowances, maternity allowances, sickness allowances, and emulation and reward regimes for staffs.
At the conference, there were many presentations from departments to propose solutions to contribute to improving Party building work as well as hospital quality in 2025, focusing on issues such as: strengthening inspection and supervision work within the Party, improving the quality of activities of grassroots Party cells; improving professional quality in medical examination and treatment as well as developing new techniques, specialized techniques...
On this occasion, representatives of the Party Committee, the Hospital's Board of Directors and the Trade Union presented Certificates of Merit to outstanding collectives and individuals with many high achievements in Party work, professional task and trade union task.
