SEMINAR ON REHABILITATION AFTER HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY

Hip replacement surgery is considered an effective and safe treatment for patients with hip joint diseases or injuries. However, after surgery, if patients receive proper and timely rehabilitation exercises, their chances of recovery and regaining mobility will be higher.
Recognizing the importance of this issue, on the afternoon of May 8, 2025, the National Rehabilitation Hospital organized a seminar to guide doctors, nurses, and technicians on rehabilitation exercises for patients after hip replacement surgery.
The seminar was attended by the Young Medical Practitioner Club members, including doctors, nurses, and technicians. The seminar content was presented by Mr. Nguyen Quang Hoang, a technician who works at the General Rehabilitation Medicine Department, and Japanese volunteer Yoshida Yumi from JICA Organization, who works at the Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Medicine Department.
At the seminar, doctors, nurses, and medical technicians gained valuable knowledge about movement exercises, exercise schedules, and incorrect postures for patients after hip replacement surgery. Improving knowledge of rehabilitation for patients after hip replacement surgery will contribute to improving the quality of healthcare at the National Rehabilitation Hospital.
