NURSING DEPARTMENT

Functions:
The Nursing Department is a professional department under the direct leadership of the Director of the hospital and is responsible to the director for tasks, such as:
- Nursing care, critical care and rehabilitaiton for patients in hospital.
- To carry out the tasks of social affairs in the hospital.
Tasks:
1. Building working plans and bring into implementation; building guidelines, regulations and technical protocols and documents related to nursing care activities.
2. Nursing care administration:
a) Bring into implementation of nursing care, checking and supervising all activities of nursing care and medical technique.
b) Term review, summarize and report the results of nursing activities according to the regulations.
3. Human Resources Management
a) Coordinate with relevant departments to develop recruitment plans, recruitment proposals, arrange jobs position for nurses, medical technician and  nurse-assistants in hospital;
b) Building job descriptions for staffs of the nursing department, Chief Nurse of Dept., Chief Technician of Dept., Nurses, Medical Technicians, Nurse-Assistants and cleaner according to the regulations and suitable with hospitals’ activities;
c) Participate in building the criteria of assessment and take responsibility for annual and before recruitment assessment the abilities of nurses and medical technicians;
d) Participate in proposal the appointment and dismissal of the positions of Chief Nurse, Chief Technician;
e) Participate in proposal the reward and discipline for individual and team of nurses, medical technicians and nurse-assistants if there are achievements or violations according to regulations.
4. Education, training and science research.
5. Participate in proposal buying medical apparatus and equipment, medical materials, medication and chemicals related to nursing care activities; simultaneously monitoring the quality, using and preservation according to regulations.
6. Support and advice on solving social affairs for patients and their relatives during health check up and admission for healthcare.
7. Law information, communication, propaganda and education.
8. Charity appeal for funding and recieving donations.
Charity appeal for funding and receiving donations to support patients in difficult circumstances. 
9. Supporting medical staff:
a) Provide information about the patient to medical staff in case it is necessary to support healthcare management.
b) Encouraging and sharing with medical staff when there are problems with patients during healthcare management.
10. Organize collaborator teams for solving social affairs in hospital.
11. Term review, summarize and evaluate the result of working.
12. Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Director of the hospital.
