During the health check-up, elderly people in the area received health examinations from doctors, including blood pressure and cardiovascular assessments, to detect common diseases. They also received health advice and care, guidance on preventing age-related conditions, treatment for chronic diseases if present, and information on policies related to elderly healthcare and protection.

In the morning, the team examined over 100 elderly people. The doctors discovered several ailments related to the liver, high blood pressure, and particularly issues concerning bones and joints.
Free medical examinations, consultations, and medication for the elderly are meaningful activities of the Young Physicians Club at the National Rehabilitation Hospital, as part of a series of events leading up to the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025). This activity helps honor and express gratitude for the contributions of the elderly; it also raises public awareness about issues affecting the lives and health of older adults, assisting them in receiving better care at home and in the community, and improving their quality of life.
