SAM SON WARD PARTY COMMITTEE HELD THE FIRST CONGRESS OF DELEGATES FOR THE 2025-2030 TERM
On the morning of August 15, the Party Committee of Sam Son Ward solemnly held the first representative congress for the 2025-2030 term. The event was attended and directed by Mr. Le Thanh Long, a member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister, and Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The congress reviewed the outstanding achievements of the past term and set forth breakthrough goals for the 2025-2030 term. It affirmed the determination to build Sam Son into a unique and leading coastal area in the country.
Despite being newly established in 2025 by merging seven wards, the Party Committee and people of Sam Son Ward had achieved remarkable results. The average per capita income was estimated to have reached 88.5 million VND. Service sectors, especially tourism, had developed strongly and maintained their role as a key economic sector, contributing significantly to the overall growth of the locality.
With the motto "Solidarity – Discipline – Creativity – Development," the Party Committee of Sam Son Ward had set 29 specific targets for the new term. The central objective was to turn Sam Son into a unique tourism, entertainment, and recreation center of national stature. In particular, it strived to achieve an average product value growth rate of 13.5% or more, welcomed 48 million visitors or more in the 2026-2030 period, and raised the average income to 136.5 million VND or more by 2030. To realize these goals, Sam Son Ward would focus on strengthening the political system, developing tourism and services as a spearhead, and building a modern, smart coastal area.
The congress announced the Provincial Standing Committee's decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Sam Son Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Le Trong Thu was appointed Secretary of the Sam Son Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh emphasized the need to develop a sustainable marine economy, diversify tourism products, and promote administrative reform. The congress demonstrated the consensus and high determination of the entire Party Committee, aiming for a breakthrough development in the future, turning Sam Son into a prominent tourist destination on the map of Vietnam.
The congress also announced the decision to appoint delegates to attend the 20th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, and voted to approve the Resolution of the First Congress of the Sam Son Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
