On the morning of April 11, 2025, National Rehabilitation Hospital in coordination with the 296 Sanatorium Regiment in Sam Son City, organized routine health check-ups for 121 officers and soldiers.
This health examination include the following components: ultrasound, electrocardiogram, X-ray, glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, SGPT, SGOT, creatinine, uric acid, AFP, CEA, total PSA, CA 72-4, CA 19-9, HDL, LDL, GGT, complete blood count analysis, and a general clinical examination.
Through this medical examination activity, officers and soldiers are given an overall assessment of their current health status, allowing for the early detection of potential health risks (if any) so that adjustments can be made to their lifestyle and work regimes scientifically and reasonably, aiming to protect the health of each individual in the 296 Sanatorium.
In addition, officers and soldiers of the 296 Sanatorium also received direct consultation from doctors of the National Rehabilitation Hospital on how to protect their health through a reasonable and scientific diet, exercise, and rest; and advice on how to detect early signs of health risks, especially chronic non-communicable diseases (such as diabetes, hypertension...) and other specific diseases.
