EMERGENCY AND INTENSIVE CARE DEPARTMENT
Functions:
The Emergency And Intensive Care Department is a clinical department, with its function are admission initial screening, diagnosis, first aid, primary emergency service, resuscitation and intensive care for seriously cases and life-threatening to whom need to be supported; under the direct leadership of the director of the hospital and responsible to the director for department’s operation.
Tasks:
1. Admission and medical management for all emergency cases.
2. Screening and classify the medical condition and take appropriate critical care and intensive care for all emergency cases.
3. Practice healthcare following protocol and regulations in the hospital.
4. Providing emergency support to all departments in the hospital.
5. Closely coordinate with the Emergency Center 115 to carry out emergency and emergency transfers outside the hospital upon request.
6. In case the patients are seriously beyond their professional capacity, they shall consult, invite for help or referral.
7. Building working plans and bringing them into operation; building internal regulations, professional rules, and technical protocol of the department and submitting them to the hospital's leadership for approval.
8. Participate in solving social affairs and nutrition medicine networks in the hospital.
9. Scientific research, communication and first-aid education for the community.
10. Training and participating in continuing education and training.
11. Term review, summarize and evaluate the result of the department’s work.
12. Carry out other tasks assigned by the Director.
